On the final day of Salem the Awards Ceremony is held after the
Morning Worship Service.
AWARDS PROGRAMS A Bible with the name
of the recipient engraved is the top award of the Salem Camp meeting.
Participants who receive a gold ribbon for three consecutive years
have their choice of Bible versions.
- A gold ribbon is awarded for daily attendance of the morning
devotional, the class period, and one of the two daily services.
- A blue ribbon is awarded for attendance of 12 or more of these
periods.
- A red ribbon for at least 8 periods.
Attendance records are kept in the classes, held at 9:30 a.m. Monday
through Friday for ages 3 through adult. All campers, residents
of the Salem Community and other church groups are encouraged to
participate in the awards program |
