Rev. Dr. Ryan Johnson
PREACHER
Dr. Ryan Johnson is the Lead Pastor of New City Church in Atlanta, GA, which he and his wife Megan planted in 2015. A graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he holds a doctorate in ministry and has served in pastoral leadership for over 15 years. In addition to preaching and leading at New City, Ryan serves as the Executive Director of the Metro Atlanta Collective, an organization focused on planting healthy churches across the region. He and Megan have four energetic children who keep them on their toes.

Rev. Dr. Terry Walton
PREACHER
Rev. Dr. Terry Walton is a lifelong Georgian, born in Atlanta and raised in Griffin. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Berry College, a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Over the course of his ministry, Terry faithfully served United Methodist congregations across Georgia and Kentucky, including appointments in Conyers, Acworth, Snellville, and Gainesville. He also held leadership roles within the North Georgia Conference, serving as District Superintendent and, prior to retirement, as Executive Assistant to the Bishop. Terry and his wife, Sharon, are the proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to eight: Caroline, Luke, Brooks, Camryn, Abigail, Leanna, Memphis, and Wake.

Dr. JOEL SINGLETON
MUSIC MINISTER
Dr. Joel Singleton has served as the Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at Rutledge Baptist Church in Rutledge, GA since 2017. A native of Georgia, he holds degrees in music and education from Georgia College & State University, Columbus State University, Auburn University, and Liberty University. In addition to his pastoral role, Joel has been a public school choral director and music teacher since 2001, currently at Monroe Area High School and previously at Eastside High School in Covington.
Joel also directs the Cumberland Valley School of Gospel Music, an organization dedicated to promoting gospel and southern gospel music education. He and his wife Lewissa reside in Social Circle, GA with their two children, Sutton and Lawson.

Alice Walker & Becky RamseY
DUO-PIANISTS
Alice Walker and Becky Ramsey, identical twins, are originally from Atlanta. They both hold BA degrees from Agnes Scott College, and have earned two certifications from the American Guild of Organists, Colleague and Associate (CAGO). Playing duets together since the age of five, they have been pianists at Salem Campground since 1971.
Alice is Organist and Director of the Ambassador Choir and Handbell Choir at First Presbyterian Church, Covington, where she is also Moderator of Presbyterian Women.
Becky is Director of Music for Seniors at Covington First Methodist Church, Director of Spiritual Growth for United women of Faith, and Sunday School Teacher for Adults.
Alice and Becky are Co-Founders and Co-Directors of the Singing Ambassadors Choir of Covington.

SHANNON TIDWELL
YOUTH DIRECTOR
Outside of Salem, Shannon works full-time in the telecommunications and mobile networking industry, is a wife and mother, and loves the outdoors. However her greatest passion is working with children and youth. She has served in that ministry for ten years at Clear Creek Church of Christ, where she has been a member for over 20 years, and is excited to be back as Youth Director for her fourth year!

Katie TIDWELL
ASSISTANT YOUTH DIRECTOR
Katie Tidwell has just finished her freshman year at Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee where she is majoring in psychological science. She is a lifelong member of Clear Creek Church of Christ where she serves in children’s ministry and on the praise team. Katie has helped with VBS, and been on mission trips inside the country as well as to Haiti. She has grown up coming to Salem and is excited to return to the youth program staff for a second year!

Sophie Hadfield
ASSISTANT YOUTH DIRECTOR
Sophie Hadfield is a sophomore at Harding University, where she is studying Elementary Education. Sophie is from Chattanooga, Tennessee and has been a lifelong member at Clear Creek Church of Christ. She has helped in youth programs in various ways, such as school summer camps, church VBS’s, leading children’s worship, and more. She could not be more excited to help out with Salem this year and cannot wait to meet new faces!
